Hao Now is a fast-casual restaurant on a busy Manhattan street, designed with New Practice Studio. With heavy foot traffic and a quick pace, the space needed to catch the eye of passersby and draw them inside, with a lively, youthful tone.
The lighting is bright and cheerful, adjusted to the needs of each area. Track lighting picks out the mural and decorative walls, while slot lights and pendants create focal points across the room. Resolving the mounting details for these fixtures was one of the project's main challenges.
